It was a pleasure speaking with JP Ong at Money FM in Singapore about global markets. The decline in long end yields and the slip in metal prices starts to question the credibility of the very positive US economic outlook. At this juncture a short term correction in US equity indices may be the risk before higher later. Could the chart of the Dow Jones included below still be a good guide for the near term?

At the same time other indices like China look quite attractive.
